Earlier today, I was looking at the snow-covered lawns outside my window and loved how the sunshine made it glisten. I was tempted to go play in it with my 6-month-old son and realized it is freezing. And we chose to play indoors instead.

Staying indoors mostly in wintertime has a couple health setbacks. People are likely to get depressed and suffer from Vitamin D deficiency. Research shows that people with seasonal affective disorder experience depression in the winter and when these persons employed the Light-Box and Cod Liver Oil Therapy they showed significant improvement. This is because the lightbox mimics sunlight and cod liver oil contains vitamin D and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Now, before you run to your pharmacy and get a Cod Liver Oil supplement, keep in mind that not all of them are made the same way. Brands that prepare their formulas with the addition of Vitamin A & E are a lot better. For instance, Carlson labs cod liver oil with lemon flavor is my go to this winter because they extract their oils in the Scandinavian/Nordic tradition.

🌟Star rating: ★★★★★
Carlson’s Cod Liver Oil Supplement earns my five-star rating because it doesn’t have a fishy after state, rather you get this lemon fresh taste.
Product also comes in softgels.

Pros: No fishy taste and smell. Contains Vitamin A & E.
Product of 🇺🇸USA & 🇳🇴Norway

Cons: Lemon taste is intense (I take the liquid supplement).

Caution: Talk to your doctor to know if this supplement is right for you.

I recommend Carlson Cod Liver Oil Supplement (softgels) because their liquid product is not ideal for persons who gag easy. It is an excellent winter health find.

Enjoy your holiday, Even if it is cold outside!
