Sometimes it’s OK to be savvy by doing your pedicure at home just to save a few extra bucks a month. However, you may not know what materials to use or the correct steps to achieve a beautiful pedicure, that’s why I created this post to share with you the directions I follow when doing my pedicure at home.
∞
#1 Remove Old Nail Color
Use a good acetone nail polish removal and cotton rounds to wipe off nail color.
#2 Pre-Soak Feet
To prep feet and toenails soak feet for about 10 – 15 mins in warm soapy water. Add 2 drops of your favorite essential oil to prevent your feet from drying out.
#3 Remove Calluses
Dry pre-soak feet with a towel and remove calluses with a callus remover, then smoothen feet with a Pedi-foot file.
#4 Remove Cuticles and Shapen Toenails
Use cuticle trimmer, nail clipper & file to clean and re-shapen nails.
#5 Massage Feet with a moisturizer
You can use a moisturizer of your choice, but I prefer to use a balm like Palmer’s Cocoa Butter formula to massage my feet.
#6 Apply Nail Polish
Once again wipe toenails clean with acetone to remove moisturizer, before applying a nail color of your choice. Remember to use a base and top coat.
So, I hope you found all these tips to be helpful. Please leave your reactions and suggestions about this post in the comment section. Thanks for reading!💋
